Rossignol's EXP Amptek Snowboard is a directional all-mountain ripper that is playful enough to butter around, but it can blast through choppy snow with authority too. Its directionality comes from a nose that is softer than its tail. Camber underfoot gives a sure footing for charging. Rockered nose and tail add float and maintain playful feel while Amptek edges bite into turns no matter how dull your edges are. Riders of any ability level will find something to like about this board.
Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.
ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.
Symmetrical Twin: This board is a full on twin-tip snowboard. Not a directional twin tip, or an asymmetrical twin-tip. The tip and tail are exactly identical, so you can spin and land switch, ride switch, do whatever you want in either direction.
4400/3400 Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax the board every day.
Nose and Tail Protectors: This board has plastic bumpers that are riveted to the nose and tail to prevent delamming and prolong the life of the board.
Amptek Auto Turn Rocker: The original rocker infused with camber between the feet delivers great float and playfulness combined with pop and stability. Auto Turn Rocker features 20% camber between feet with 80% rocker everywhere else.
Snowboard Terrain: All Mountain
Snowbord Rocker Type:Rocker/Camber/Rocker
